The Hispanic Ministries Team
The
purpose of the Hispanic Ministries Team
is to provide leadership in the
implementation and development of
ministries that seek to serve the needs
of the Hispanic community in Mayfield,
while at the same time seeking to
present witness to the gospel of
salvation in Jesus Christ.
The
Team supports the work of the Director
of Hispanic Ministries by providing
needed assistance in: the study and
research of needs in our community,
prioritizing of needs, and the
identification and recruitment of people
and resources available within FBC, or
in the community, that would help supply
those said needs. The Team is made up of
six volunteers, both Hispanic and Anglo,
elected by the church. Each Team member
serves for a period of two years.
The Hispanic Leadership Team
The
Hispanic Leadership Team works as
a sub-committee of the Hispanic
Ministries Team, and it is made up of
five Hispanic members. Their assignment
is to work alongside the Director of
Hispanic Ministries and the Hispanic
mission Pastor to seek to satisfy the
spiritual needs of the Hispanic members,
and to lead them in the various areas of
church ministry: discipleship,
evangelism, fellowship, education, and
worship.
