What Will We Do There?

Revelation 21

I. What will heaven be like?

A. What will we be like?

1. We will receive a new body! (I Corinthians 15:35-38; II Corinthians 5:1)

2. Our new body is referred to as spiritual, resurrected, glorified, or transformed.

3. Our new body will be identifiable. (I Corinthians 5:43; Philippians 3:21)

4. Our new body will be real, not spirit. (Luke 24:39)

5. We will be able to eat. (Luke 24: 42-43)

6. We will be able to transcend time and space. (John 20:19; John 20:19)

7. Our new body will be indestructible. (I Corinthians 15:42)

8. Our new body will be infinite. (I Corinthians 15:44)

B. What will we do there?

1. Heaven will not be boooooring!

2. God is not boring. Psalm 16:11

3. We will not be boring. (Remember, we are changed.)

4. We will do purposeful work.

5. We will worship (more about this later).
