When Life Gives You Lemons Review

Philippians 1:12-26

* Everyone will experience "lemons" in their life.

* The question about lemons should be "what" not "why".

* Remember the ABC's of lemons:

A = the lemon

B = our interpretation of the event

C = our behavior as a result of our interpretation

* In order to make the right interpretation and choices, we need "wisdom."

* Paul teaches that "lemons" happened to us for the cause of Christ. (v.12)

* Correctly responding to lemons can give us boldness. (v.14)

* Accepting the reality of lemons shows we serve Christ out of love, not gain. (vv. 15-17)

* This is the biblical principle of the "exchanged life." (vv. 18-26)
